Welcome to Voluntary Aid & Cultural Integration (VACI-Ghana) is a Ghana-registered non-profit non-governmental humanitarian organization. Our primary objective is to promote community development in Ghana while concurrently promoting responsible and meaningful cultural integration. VACI adopts a focused and result-oriented approach to in carrying out its stated goals. To this end, VACI’s work is focused on four (4) administrative districts in the South Eastern part of Ghana. This approach ensures continuity of volunteer effort and developmental support for communities that really need it.

Other than a one-time yearning, we make visiting and undertaking volunteer work in Ghana something you will like to do again after your first experience. Whether you are a veteran international volunteer or a newbie, VACI’s volunteer programs guarantee you a meaningful and exhilarating experience.
In working with you as a volunteer, we give you the opportunity to be a part of our sustainable vision. We offer unlimited opportunities for participants to serve in various disciplines within communities, engaging in projects that include health care, counseling, support services, teaching, sports and other relief services.
VACI is also provides the facility for volunteers to undertake self-determined projects by provision of sites and logistical and institutional support. For example, a volunteer can reach out to needy and deprived children and mothers in an effective and supported manner.
As a VACI volunteer, you will have the great opportunity to live with host families. (Of course, you also have the option to live private accommodation). Although the issue of accommodation remains a personal choice, VACI- Ghana recommends the Host Family Option to its volunteers.
